My Favorite Etsy Things, v4 - Photo Geek

The POLYMER CLAY ARTISTS GUILD OF ETSY (PCAGOE) is still taking votes on our monthly challenge. This month's theme is "self-portrait." Take a few minutes and check out the hot competition - there's some great work over there this month, and the wonderful women over at polymerclayproductions.com are sponsoring this month's challenge and offering 2 polymer clay prize packs, one for the winning entry, and one for a randomly selected voter. Go check it out - voting ends tomorrow at noon!!! Just click on the image below:

A few things before I begin today's favorites list...

  • I really hate the formatting options, or lack thereof, here at Blogger. Maybe I'm spoiled by my other site's dashboard, but I no longer want to deal with my own html in order to insert a table. Also, the sidebar is too wide, making my posting area too small. Wah, wah, wah. Like I have time to go about formatting all this. I have art to make!
  • Is anyone out there? Anyone reading this? Comment if you are!
Ok favorite things
Today's theme: PHOTO GEEK. Only one photo included, and that's not because it IS a photo, but because of what it is a photo OF. Click on any name or image to view the item for sale in its Etsy shop.

Now, on to my favorites list for today. The theme is baby stuff, toddler stuff, and mommy stuff. Awesome stuff that I presently have absolutely no need for, but appreciate nonetheless...

Update - Getting Published!

I'm very pleased and proud to announce, as previously mentioned in a prior post, that some or all of the following pieces are accepted to appear in the Rockport/Quarry book "1,000 Jewelry Details" to be released in Spring 2008!

Updates as I receive them - right now the plan is to take some updated pix of some of the older ones...

It's That Time of the Month Again.

Nooo, not THAT time!

It's time to vote over at pcagoe.com on your favorite entry in this month's challenge!
This month's theme is "self-portrait."

GO! VOTE! NOW!

For the record, I'm not entered this month, so you are free to vote unbiased!

Tell your friends! Tell your folks! Tell your own worst enemy!

Re-post, PLEASE! Spread the good news, people!

Tasty Babies

I received a fwd:fwd:fwd:fwd email about babies made of marzipan, and thought, wow, that's a lot of work, and who could eat them? Since then found out the artist's name is Camille Allen, and they are made of clay, not marzipan. Sorry, baby cannibals with a sweet tooth.
Pretty amazing stuff!

And now for something new...

After much frustration caused by things not going in real life as they did in my mind regarding my newest polymer jewelry endeavor, I came up with some shawl pins (a great request from Gerberah) this weekend. Felt good to take my frustrations out on the clay.

These too will be listed in my Etsy shop as soon as time permits.
